Guest Wireless Network The guest wireless network is back up and running. The password will be on signs in the hallways. This network is for your personal devices NOT your school issued laptops.


The following scholarships are in the guidance office:

1. William Penn Univ. - for students wanting to be in marching or pep band. You do not have to be majoring in music.

2. Elks National Foundation - based on academics, leadership, and financial need. Deadline is Dec. 7th.

Attention Seniors If you have any ideas for the class motto, turn it in to any senior class officer. Thank you

Play Shirts Are Here The play shirts are in and they are $10 a piece and need to be picked up this week in Mrs. Knieps room.


We have information about the Herbert Hoover Uncommon Student Award. This is for juniors who propose and then accomplish a project of their own design. If you are interested, stop by the guidance office. Deadline is March 31, 2013.

Bowling Practice Starts Nov 5 Bowling practice will start on Monday,Nov.5 @ 3:45pm. All bowlers need to have Good Conduct / Concussion & Physical forms on file. You will not practice or play until all are on file.

Raider Pep Bus Attention Raider Country football nation members. A pep bus will be offered to the football game on Friday night when the Raiders take on St. Alberts. A sign up sheet is in the high school office if you are interested. Cost is $10, this is to cover your ticket and gas. The bus will leave at 3:45 from the high school. Elementary students must have a chaperone if they ride. The pep bus is open to both students and the community.

Raiderette Basketball Shirts If you are interested in a Raiderette basketball shirt check you email for details. Orders need to be turned in by Wednesday, November 7.


Any senior who is planning to attend college is invited to attend Senior Day at Graceland Univ. on November 19th. This is for all seniors, no matter where you are going to school. You will find out what to expect your Freshman year and sit in on a college class. Lunch and transportation will be provided. Please sign up in the guidance office by Wed., November 7th, if you would like to attend.

FFA Fruit and Cheese The FFA Fruit and Cheese Sales are coming to a close. Please turn in your Sales records tomorrow, Nov. 1st... If we have missed some buyers we will make accomodations for those folks and make sure they have the opportunity to purchase fruit and cheese. Thank you to all of those MACS teachers and staff that purchased fruit and cheese from the FFA.

FFA 360 Degree conference The FFA 360 Degree conference is this Saturday November 3rd. You need to make sure your parents sign the good conduct form and the sign out sheet for permission. It must be received by Mrs, C before you can go. We will leave Saturday morning from the Ag Shop area.

Lego League The First Lego League students will meet today & tomorrow.

College Rep

A representative from Iowa Central Community College will be here on Tuesday, November 6th, at 10:30 a.m.
