Student Council Blood Drive

The Student Council is sponsoring a Blood Drive on Tuesday, March 5th, from 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. in the high school gym. You must be at least 16 years of age and weigh at least 120 pounds to donate. Please see a high school student council member or stop by the guidance office to schedule an appointment.

ACT Registration

If you are planning to take the ACT test in April, you need to register online by March 8th. Stop by the guidance office for information.


We have the Konner Klommhaus Scholarship application. If you would like to apply, stop by the guidance office. Deadline is March 14th.


If you are planning to attend Des Moines Area Comm. College, please stop by the guidance office for information about a scholarship. The deadline is March 1st.

Also, we have information about scholarships available from Grand View Univ. for students interested in art-related majors. Deadline to apply is Feb. 28th.


The Local and Judge Lewis Scholarship applications are due in the guidance office by Feb. 28th.

Senior Girls

The Chapter CK, P.E.O. scholarship application is in the guidance office. The deadline to apply is April 5th.

Senior Males

We have information in the guidance office about scholarships for male students who belong to the Lutheran Church, and are planning to attend Iowa State Univ. The deadline to apply is April 19th.

College Rep

A representative from Indian Hills Comm. College will be here on Wednesday, Feb. 27th, at 1:00 p.m. to visit with interested students.

National FFA week There will be free popcorn for staff in the Teachers Lounge all week. Today is Official Dress Day - members will be attending Sub District competition and leaving after seminar. Friday is new FFA T-shirts, State Officers, Michael Knight and others will be visiting all Ag classes.
