Seniors

We have the following scholarship applications in the guidance office:

1. Buick Achievers - for seniors planning to enroll at a four-year college or univ., and plan to major in a field of study that focuses on engineering, technology, design or business, with an interest in the automotive industry. Deadline is February 28th.

2. Iowa Soybean Association - for seniors who have a cum gpa of 3.0 or better, and are planning a career in an ag-related field. Deadline - March 1st.

3. Ringgold Co. Soil and Water Conservation District - for all seniors. Due - March 1st.

4. Southwest Iowa Rural Electric Cooperative - for seniors whose parents/guardians are members of Southwest Iowa REC. Also available are scholarships for any students planning to attend an Accredited Lineman School. March 1st is the deadline for both of these.

5. MFA Foundation - for all seniors. Deadline is March 15th.

6. Charlie Burkart Scholarship - for seniors interested in golf. Applications are due June 14th.

7. Ruth B. Sayre Scholarship - for senior girls. Due - March 1st.


Parents night for Winter Sports All seniors involved in the winter activities of Basketball-Bowling-Drill Team-Academic Decathlon and Speech need to stop by the office today and pick up your information sheets for Parents Night. You will need to return them back to the high school office ASAP.


Flowers for Parents Night Seniors be sure to stop by the office to order your flower or flowers for Senior Parents Night. You have a choice of Gerber Daisies for $3 and Carnations for $2. Order in the High School Office.


Seniors

We have a scholarship application in the guidance office from United Producers, Inc., for students who plan to pursue careers in agriculture-related fields. Deadline is April 1st.


FAFSA Info

Seniors be sure to check your school email for info. regarding the FAFSA sent from Mr.Larsen.


College Rep

A representative from Iowa Central Comm. College will be here on Friday, Feb. 1st, at 10:00 a.m. If you are interested, please come to the guidance office at that time.


Leaving The Building Only seniors with open campus are allowed to leave for lunch. NO student is allowed to leave the building without signing in & out in the high school office.


College Classes

Students taking college classes this semester, please stop by the guidance office to fill out a form whether you want to count the class in your gpa or not. This needs to be done by Feb. 13th.
