College Rep

A representative from Missouri Western State University will be here on Monday, October 31, at 9:00 a.m.


Grant City Skating Rink The Grant City Skating Rink will open starting November 5. Their hours are 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.


Flu Shots Ringgold County Public Health is offering the following flu vaccination clinics for youth and adults: Tuesday, November 1st from 1 to 4 pm Thursday, November 3rd from 1 to 4 pm Friday, November 4th from 8 to 10 am and 1 to 4 pm Cost is $30 for Flumist and $25 for the shot. There is no cost to those with Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield, or Medicare Part B. There is also no charge to children under 18 without insurance or who are underinsured. Parents who are unable to accompany their children can fill out the attached form for consent. Please call public health at 464-0691 with any questions.


Class of T-Shirts Junior Class Parents are selling Class of T-Shirts as a fundraiser for after prom activities. T-shirts are available for each class from pre-school through Seniors. If interested, order forms are in the high school office. The junior class parents thank you for your support to make prom a event to remember!

A representative from Buena Vista University will be here on Thursday, November 3, at 9:00 a.m.


FFA Fruit and Cheese Today is the last day to order FFA fruit & cheese.


Raiderette Basketball Shirts If you would like to buy a Raiderette basketball shirt check your email for details or pick up an order form in the office. Orders with payment need to be in by November 7.


Seniors

We have the Elks National Foundation Scholarship application in the guidance office. Applications are judged on academics, leadership, and financial need. Deadline to apply is December 2.


Today is the last day to order KEK shirts REMINDER: Today is the last day to order the KEK memorial t-shirts. Please turn your order in today.


Warning from Sheriff Sobotka Many road signs in the country have been stolen or vandalized. Someone could get injured or killed because the signs are missing. Obviously stealing & vandalizing is against the law. If you have any information about this please contact the sheriff's office.


High School Boys Basketball during Seminar There will be a high school boys basketball meeting during seminar this Wednesday.

A representative from the University of Iowa will be here on Monday, November 7, at 1:15 p.m. to visit with students.


Senior Pictures Seniors: If you haven't gotten your picture taken with Tom Strade you need to so your picture will be in the class composite. Tom will be here Wednesday, November 9. Sign up for a time in the high school office.
